My sister is a Yoga Leader of laughter. It took a little time after the death of her hubby laughter Yoga when she was experiencing on evil to sadness and loneliness of his loss. Now, just for your information, my sister has always been at the forefront of something new in the field of alternative health - marrying and various nutritional products and "new age" years of conditions before they become the main stream of healing. In fact, back in the 1970s, his colleagues in the Office of Government, in which she worked called his "rice cakes" because of his habit of eating these common now, but then, very hard to find substitutes for bread.
When she was first in the thoughts of my first laughter Yoga was that then?- and I shook just my head to the absurdity of people coming together regularly, not less, to laugh. Bizarre, thought I - step for me – finding that I have had enough collateral laugh without laughter on purpose.
It was four years ago, and as the years progressed, I saw him become happier and happier and happier! It has flowered infinitely with its regular practice of Yoga of laughter. In fact, it was really found in the essence of who she is as a person and is now helping others do the same, travelling seniors residences and churches to help spread the word - and laughter!
What happens when we laugh? And why it is so good for us? When we laugh long and well, we inhale and exhale deeply. In other words, us breathe deeply. When we breathe deeply, we are expanding the cells of our lungs more efficiently, preventing them from sticking together and becoming prone to infection. People with a disease pulmonary experience air hunger because their lungs can develop enough to breathe the oxygen they need or expel carbon dioxide, that they do not need. More oxygen inhalation and expulsion of dioxide of carbon as we laugh, is so good for our overall physical health. Research has also proven that laughter is good for our emotional health because it stimulates the production of endorphins, "happy" hormone of our brain that help reduce the pain and give us a greater sense of well-being.
How this information was discovered? Well, so in 1964, Norman Cousins, then editor of the journal Saturday in the US, developed a life threatening disease and not wanting to not succumb; He made research on the disease in General and read about the theory that negative feelings can be harmful to health. He thus concluded that positive feelings can improve the health and started a now-famous regime intentionally all laugh day until that he felt better. He concluded that many of laughter reduces not only the pain, but it also helped him sleep better. In fact it was literally laughed himself wellness watch funny movies and read funny stories. He has lived more than 15 years and immortalized his experience in his book "the anatomy of an illness". His work led medical scientists to study the laughter, and in 1989, the prestigious Journal of the American Medical Association published the finding that the relieved laughter not only the symptoms, but also improved patient overall quality of life.
You know where I'm going with this obviously - I begin to advocate that we all take a few moments of every day to deliberately have a good laugh. I mean, why not? As students of the law of Attraction our intention at each moment is to keep our vibes high - keep positive sense as much as possible - and what better way than to laugh? Think about having a good belly laugh, think about how we feel when we have a. Don't forget, our focal point is how we feel. When we laugh, we send the best of the best positive feelings. When we laugh we are raising our vibration to the highest of the high. When we laugh well, we are also tapping into the source - the font of all wisdom, peace and love. Yep - as you all know, laughter is good for the soul because it connects us with who we really are, and that is what we want to do at any time - stay connected to who we really are. Laughing well and, often, we can keep our high vibes so that we can attract more of the same - more laughs, more happiness and more wisdom, peace and love.
Think I will now ask my pen and go to join a laughter yoga program. Seems "Rice cakes" can simply be the last of the men!
