Spouse Date Night - ideas for dating after marriage
A useful Guide to the wives of saints of the last days and Grooms, and Non LDS Brides and Grooms
You're married... now what? It is a funny question. All the excitement of being hired
and planning your wedding, you probably don't give much thought to how your daily post-wedding life would be.
One thing that will make a big difference in your privacy as a married couple, especially you have been married, continues to "date" on the other.
Importance of spouse's Date Night
Elder Russell M. Nelson noted that "couples need time to observe, to speak and to really listen to each other". Regular night for the couple is a very important and very useful for husbands and wives to continue to build their relationship through shared experiences and pursue common interests as a whole.
The three keys to be consistent regular night are:
1 Make night date a priority. Many couples set a night regular, usually Friday or Saturday, as their "date night". Nothing else is allowed on the evening, which is reserved for a night of date only!
2. The prior planning. If night rolls around date, but you have not provided a date, then you'll probably end up doing something boring. And if your nights date are always boring, they disappear you quickly.
3 Brainstorm - a list of affordable dates. Between the school, starting a family and other expenses, you will need to perhaps no more money for nights extravagant date. Remember that good dates do not have to lose a lot (or anything.)
